- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆1) Really shady and unethical of the Pasadena Parking department to not put signs on the streets that there you need a permit to park overnight. They say there are signs(probably somewhere hidden in the bushes) when you enter the city of Pasadena advising about the need of a permit to park overnight. - ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I got a citation for overnight parking from 2am-6am even with a overnight parking permit purchased!!!! I followed the instruction on their official website and got both the day permit and night permit through their kiosk on Del Mar, but apparently where i parked is somewhat a "preferential parking street" so the permit i got is not valid. As a visitor how on earth do i know that a street is a preferential or not !?!? (NO SIGN ANYWHERE) I try to explain it to the lady at the parking office but she is so rude and racist and keep telling me "i don't understand your english and I cant help you." and refuse to talk to me anymore.
